So, long month! How are you all? I'm alternately madly busy - or fretting about my future. The main day job is disappearing, you see, so I have to do some serious thinking about what I'd like to do. The problem is that I was actually quite happy as it was (with my six interesting, but not very well paid jobs) - but I guess you can't keep putting in the work hours that I've been doing for the last couple of years... It's probably for the best! At least it will be when I find another job which will pay my rent. And allow me to write on the side, preferably! But enough of the serious stuff! It's Torquere's big charity blog hop, and you can win a copy of Happily Ever After! Just comment on this post before Monday morning, and I'll add you into the draw. If you already have Happily Ever After and would like one of my other books instead, we can talk about that:). You should take a look at the Romance for the Rest of Us blog, by the way; lots of other Torquere authors offer up prizes and interesting blog posts as well. And that's not all: In addition, Torquere will be giving away a $50.00 gift certificate to the Torquere site as a grand prize. The winner will be posted on the Romance for the Rest of Us blog.

So sorry that you're stressed. Making a big life change is never easy, especially if you like what you've built already. Here's hoping the stress is short-lived! If you need anything to distract you (bad redneck jokes, weird armadillo facts, endless supply of plot bunnies, etc.), let me know.

Awww, you're so nice! And, uh, not to be greedy, but: Can I have weird armadillo facts now? Pleeease? I'm so going to write a story about them after your last plot bunny attack:)!

We were on the same wavelength today...I actually did send you a list of armadillo facts earlier today. If you didn't get them, I can re-send it. Hope you have a great weekend.

Sorry to hear about your job, but I wish you lots of luck in finding a new one that also allows you plenty of writing time.

Wishing you the best with all the flux in life! God knows I wish *I* had a flux capacitor. :-) The story sounds excellent!

Thank you, guys! I'm not great with big changes, but hey, it happens to a lot of people at this time - and I'm just so incredibly grateful for having had a great job so far through the crisis. Now I just really need to begin writing again; stress is not good for my writing. At all! 11/11/2012 16:57:16
Good luck with all the transitions. That can be super stressful, but it sounds like you're keeping your good cheer. No need to enter me in the contest; just wanted to stop by and support the hop. Have a great week! Comments are closed.
